If one of your products or a variant of a product is out of stock having a waiting list is a good way to stay in touch with your potential customers and remind them to purchase when the product is back in stock.

This feature is a block that can be added to a product page within the Product Information section. The block becomes visible to the customer as soon as a product or a variant is out of stock. An email will be sent to your Shopify address when a user enters their details and clicks the button.

You can easily customize the title, tagline, and button text that appears on the page as well as the notice that appears after someone subscribes to the list.

***This block offers simple functionality for collecting emails from potential customers. It doesn’t automatically send email notifications when a product is back in stock. For that kind of functionality, a dedicated app will be required.
