Delivery Estimator

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

The Delivery Estimator is a valuable tool that shows your visitors an estimated delivery date if they purchase a product today. This information is often crucial for customers and can significantly improve your store’s conversion rates.

The feature is available as a block on the product page, allowing you to position it anywhere on the page.

How to Set It Up:

  1. The estimator will calculate the delivery dates dynamically, and visitors will see a date range indicating when their product should arrive.
  2. Enter the minimum and maximum number of business days required for the product to arrive.
  3. For example, if delivery takes at least 2 business days but no more than 5, enter 2 in the Min field and 5 in the Max field.

Note: The estimator does not count Saturdays and Sundays as business days.

You can use the Delivery Estimator in two ways:

1. Globally

When you first set it up (as described above), it will apply to all products in your store.

2. Per Product

To set different delivery times for individual products, use the following product tags:

  • “earliest delivery x”
  • “latest delivery y”

Replace X and Y with the minimum and maximum number of business days required for that specific product to be delivered.

When a product has these tags added in its tag field, the delivery estimator will override the global settings and calculate delivery dates using the numbers specified in the tags.
